The project
In the series REVEALED LANDSCAPES, the artist searches for temporary, previously hidden landscapes on the human body.
Participants are invited to surrender to the artist, so she can mold fragments of their body. Although the sculptures suggest sensual forms, the impressions are taken from innocent, often overlooked parts of the body. Attention is paid to the presence or absence of relief, the texture of the skin, folds and creases.
Sometimes the skin is subtly manipulated to create a specific shape. After all, every body is subject to time: it weathers, changes and evolves constantly. The sculptures function as snapshots – they capture a fleeting moment of the body, still a movement, isolate it and transform it into a landscape.
On demand
Have you always dreamed of having yourself immortalised in a work of art? Would you like to have a set of sculptures made of yourself and your partner? Or are you just looking for an original gift?
You can participate in a one/one performance in which your body is used to create a personalised sculpture. As a result, you will receive the sculptures in plaster together with a document with all the details of the session. In addition, all results will be kept in my photo archive.

Practical
- Only uncovered, visible parts of the skin are moulded – i.e. the parts not covered by clothing.
- The process is painless.
- Each sculpture becomes part of a larger artwork, preserved as an image in the photo archive, sometimes as a copy for the physical archive.
- Each sculpture receives a unique number and its own code.
- Only the participant themselves can purchase their own sculpture.
